Pereira to Bogota, Colombia, a short and scary flight

We were kind of stuck in Pereira, Colombia, since we’d already booked a future flight from there to Bogota that we couldn’t change…

From the main terminal in Pereira, we caught a bus and headed towards the horse farm and guesthouse near Filandia, Colombia.

On the way there, however, we found out we’d been duped by the horse farm…

The bus station in Manizales, Colombia, was at the bottom of a valley, while the town itself was high above on a mountain ridge.

Luckily, there was a really easy and fun way to get up to the town…

It was time to leave wonderful Medellin and take a bus to Manizales, Colombia, a town located in the coffee growing region near Pereira and Salento.

We woke up early, made some eggs and toast, showered, did our final packing, and headed out….
